Hitting the streets with nothing but a camera, is how it all started. I always loved taking portraits of people who I random encountered. Although it wasn’t easy in the beginning, with zero control of the circumstances like light and weather conditions, my desire to constantly improve, made me what I am today.
Thus I bring you emotions and feelings, translated to a paper or digital image. In order to achieve this, I focus on composition, light, framing, depth of field and details.
Producing one Instagram-banger satisfies me more than having twenty good pictures.
Today you can still find me on the streets with my camera during my off-days.
I am Jelle Vanthuyne, a passionate photographer and retoucher from the beautiful Dender region in Belgium. My specialty is delivering vibrant & contrasty portraits, which differentiates me from most photographers out there, but my style is varied enough to mimic your vision into a still image.
